With the objective of increasing awareness among students about legislative bodies, and as per the directions of the Hon’ble Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Sri Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu, it has been decided to permit students from schools, colleges, and other educational institutions across the state to witness the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly from the Visitors’ Gallery at Amaravati.

On this occasion, the Hon’ble Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly granted permission for the students of Classes 9 and 10 from the High School section of Bandla Bapaiah Junior College, Vetapalem, to observe the Assembly proceedings on 18-02-2026.

Accordingly, on 18-02-2026, the High School students of Bandla Bapaiah Hindu Junior College visited the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and witnessed the proceedings live. The students observed the sessions with great interest and enthusiasm. From the High School section, teachers Sri Bheemavarapu Subbarao and Smt. Guntur Pushpalatha accompanied the students.

During the visit, they had the opportunity to meet the Hon’ble MLA of Chirala, Sri Madduluri Malakondaiah, and interact with him. He advised the students to cultivate political awareness and leadership qualities from a young age, emphasizing that directly understanding the functioning of legislative bodies would enhance their sense of responsibility. The management, college staff, and students of the Bandla Bapaiah Educational Institutions expressed their sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Speaker of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Ayyanna Patrudu, and to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for providing this valuable opportunity.
